Caravan Park
Hidden at the back of the pub we have our peaceful caravan park which is suitable for motor homes or caravans. The distant sound of a steam train can be heard but that is the only transport noise you will hear! The site backs onto beautiful walking territory, only a few minutes stroll and you come across an incredible view over the forest and moors of Newton dale and Levisham, with Skelton tower visible in the distance and the steam railway which links Pickering to Whitby running along the bottom of the valley.
You are truly in Heartbeat country here! Whether you enjoy walking or want to just kick back and relax, we hope you’ll find our site the perfect place to do it, and an excellent base for exploring the close by attractions of Pickering, Goathland, Dalby Forest, the NYMR, Flamingo Land and much more.
Our pitches
We have electric pitches available to guests. All pitches are approx. 28ft wide. A private shower block is available 24 hours, with 2 large wet rooms, 2 extra toilets, indoor hot water washing up sink plus work surfaces, mirrors, and power point.
Family and Dog friendly
We welcome well-behaved dogs on a lead (max 2 dogs per pitch) and children. The village boasts a very well-kept playground and sports field and the various woods and paths are ideal for exercising your dog.
